That is the reason modern shipping companies, freight forwarders, and port operators allocate significant portions of their budgets on technology and systems improvement. With this comes the increasing number of shipping software companies offering a wide range of solutions for various clients and vessel types such as break bulk carriers, roll-on/roll-off (RoRo), general cargo, container vessels, multi-purpose (MPP) vessels, and third party logistics providers (3PL’s).
